Modern Cranberry Sauce

A little twist from the traditional Cranberry sauce by giving a kick in the old flavor
Ingredients
- 3c Sugar
- 2c Water
- 1c Orange Juice
- 1c Grand Marnier Liqueur
- 8c Frozen or Fresh Cranberries (clean)
- 1c Dry currents
- 2tsp Cinnamon powder
- 2tsp Orange Zest
- 2tsp Nutmeg
- 1tsp Allspice
Procedure
- On a pot, Heat up Orange juice and Grand Marnier Liqueur, and reduce to more than half
- Add Cold Water, sugar, and stir until sugar is dissolve
- Add Cranberries, stir them occasionally to prevent burning in the bottom of the pan, and simmer until cranberries burst open
- Add currents and the rest of the ingredients
- Mix them together on a low heat for 3 minutes
- Remove from the heat and cool it completely at room temperature and than chill in refrigerator.
- The sauce will thicken as its cooling down in the refrigerator

Its also great to use as a spread on a Bagel, Bread, and any Savory dishes
